Narrative:
Julie Kaplan joined Hunsucker Goodstein & Nelson PC in 2003. Ms. Kaplan practices in the Environmental Litigation and Regulatory Actions practice area.

Ms. Kaplan served 10 years as a Trial Attorney in the United States Department of Justice, Environmental Enforcement Section. She has over 17 years of environmental law experience, and handles matters under the Resource Conservation Recovery Act (RCRA), the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation and Liability Act (CERCLA) and State laws, as well as litigation involving air and water pollution. While at the United States Department of Justice, Ms. Kaplan worked on a number of major environmental enforcement cases, including leading RCRA and Clean Water Act cases, and received Department of Justice and Environmental Protection Agency awards for her significant work. Ms. Kaplan also worked for several years for the Georgetown Environmental Law & Policy Institute researching and writing on environmental matters.
